RPM has always provided support for multiple reports in concurrent preview, but in multiple preview windows that created a lot of clutter. You will still be able to use that paradigm if you want, but by default the new UI will containerize multiple reports in a single tabbed preview window.

This also provides the user far more flexibility since they can mark pages in several reports and print them as a combined print job, or archive them in a combined archive, or add them to a package . . . see, lots of new flexibility from a simple design change!

In addition, this UI provides a new tool for the user, a table of contents (if you provide one!) that makes it much easier to find pages and discern the page, dare I say it, contents! You provide the information contained in the table on a break by break basis as the report is generated.
