RPM was the first to introduce page number control providing the ability to add "page of pages" to your Clarion reports. RPM gives you many ways to renumber your pages and includes just about every option you can think of... and if you think of one not included just let us know and we will add it to the next release!

Page renumbering with support for "page of pages"

This is basic page renumbering using a "token" that is replaced following report completion. This can be forced before previewing the report or left as a process that is performed just prior to printing.

RPM includes code templates to handle renumbering or it can be setup on the report extension.

Options include beginning page number, connector text (the "of" in "page of pages"), single page print from preview (literal string or normal renumbering) and "quick" renumbering.

Puzzled about what that is?

Consider an invoice breaking on customer. Each customer may have one or multiple pages for each invoice. Your user wants "page-of-pages" for each customer. In this case each customer becomes a group of pages and renumbering is done real-time for each page group. That's segmented renumbering!

Select the desired options, enter the break group variable and you're done! Automated segmented page renumbering is easy to implement.
