Lodestar Software began business in 1994 and has since offered consultation services, custom software development, and 3rd party add-ons for Clarion.

Although originally a sole proprietorship, Lodestar Software, as such, ceased to do business in 1999 when DeveloperPLUS was formed. From that date, Lodestar Software was retained for name recognition although it exists solely by name.

The developers and impetus of the original Lodestar Software continues under the auspices of DeveloperPLUS. In other words, the same people, just a different name!

Lodestar Software maintains multiple copies of current product source off site.

This is done for two reasons:

	Source Safety		The likelihood of all source being lost is minimal.
	Your Safety		In the unlikely event that Lodestar Software should cease doing business, those users who are current with the latest version of any given product will receive a copy of the source free of cost.
